YOUR MISSION AT TRANSIT?

Ensure that the balance sheets, financial statements and accounting entries are produced on time while ensuring to provide the Strategic Team with accurate and quality accounting and financial information to guide them in their decision-making.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Prepare financial statements and monthly analysis reports with justifications and inform the finance director.
    • Participate in the development of budgets and monitor them.
    • Participate in the preparation of month-end/year-end files.
    • Ensure that financial information in the system is up to date.
    • Support the accounting technician in the preparation of financial statements.
    • Perform cash management.
    • File declarations for the various levels of government.
    • Participate in the preparation of the annual insurance renewal file.
    • Support the Finance Director in credit management as well as the follow-up of collection files / lawsuits.
    • Make all departments aware of the financial requirements that are an integral part of their functions.
    • Participate in the preparation of company performance reports (weekly, monthly and annual).
    • Respond to various requests from the Finance Director.
    • Perform financial analyzes as needed for the various departments of Transit.

sought profile:

    • BAC in Accounting.
    • CPA : an asset.
    • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
    • Excellent analytical skills.
    • Methodical, meticulous and organized.
    • Independent and responsible.
    • Bilingualism required (French, English) due to the need of oral and written communication with unilingual French or English-speaking collaborators.
